On Message on Camera (TC2)

This one-day course aims to equip participants with practical tips and advice on how to handle broadcast media interviews during an emergency, crises or critical incident .

Who should attend?

Staff who could find themselves in front of a camera having to give their organisation’s response to an emergency, crisis or critical incident; communication staff who may have to arrange and facilitate media interviews.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Engage with the media effectively using various techniques
Develop key messages for maximum impact
Deal with difficult issues and questions
Draw on their own experience from having participated in practical broadcast interviews
Give a solid performance on camera
